pp108 : Viewing the Profile of a User

Viewing the Profile of a User

This topic describes the procedure to view the roles, tasks, and teams associated with a user.

Before you begin this task:
You must have the role of systemAdmin or organizationalAdmin to view the user profile.

You can use the User Manager application to assign multiple roles, tasks, and teams to a user. As an Administrator, you need to manage all the users and roles in an organization and may need a single view of all the users and the objects associated with them. The User Profile feature provides a summary of the associated objects and enables you to view the roles, tasks and teams associated with a user in a single view.

  1. On CUSP > My Applications, click (User Manager). The User Manager window appears.
  2. Select the Users - Roles, Users - Tasks, or Users - Teams view in the User Manager window. The corresponding view appears.
  3. Right-click a user and select the User Profile option. The User Profile - <UserID> window appears displaying the roles, tasks, and teams associated with the user. These details appear in separate sections.
    Note:
  • In the Tasks section, the role to which the task has been assigned is displayed adjacent to the name of the task. This is because, a task is assigned to a role and this role is in turn assigned to a user. As a result, the task associated with that role is assigned to the user and is displayed as an associated task of user.
  • In the Teams section, the role of the user in a team is indicated adjacent to the name of the team. If the role of the user in a team is a Lead role, the status is indicated next to the name of the role.

The roles, tasks, and teams assigned to the user are displayed.
